On Tuesday, 1st November an Eastern European delegation of IT & Cyber specialists visited The Hague as part of five-day trade mission to the Netherlands organized by cybersecurity company LeaderTelecom.

LeaderTelecom has visited Cybersecurity Matchmaking Event 2016, which took place on October 14 in Zuiderstrandtheater in The Hague. It was a part of the Dutch government campaign named Alert Online 2016, which aimed at expanding knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.

In the blog, Google Chrome Security Team announced the news that the browser, from January 2017, will mark all HTTP sites, which transmit passwords or credit card data, as unsecure. At the moment, Chrome displays the secure site icon with a green padlock, but the security team decided to rethink this process.

Self-signed certificates for VPN at first glance seem to be financially beneficial, but, as you know, this may be false economy. Hackers can easily break into the data transmission process in the VPN, issuing their own certificate - so they will have access to read the traffic.
