A few days ago, the CA / B Forum, the industry regulator of SSL certificates, accepted by a majority vote proposal Ballot 218 associated with the removal of a several domain validation methods.

As reported in the DigiCert blog, from 1 February 2018, all new publicly trusted SSL certificates from this certificate authority will be added to the Certificate Transparency logs by default.

As we already mentioned previously, the issue of three-year SSL certificates will be terminated by all certifying authorities, starting from 1 March 2018. However, DigiCert has made an amendment to the information regarding this date: the company reported that the latest issuance date for the three-year GeoTrust, RapidSSL, Symantec and Thawte SSL certificates is 20 February 2018.

HTTP Public Key Pinning (HPKP) is a security standard that forces browsers to accept only certain "pinned" public keys when visiting a host for a fixed period of time. This feature was introduced by Google in 2015. However, it never gained popularity.
